Subfreeze Hike!
I did a subfreeze hike over winter break, and never posted the pictures from it. It was a short hike along the Billy Goat Trail on the Potomac River.

Yup, definitely freezing out

Walking on water

The Potomac

The bigger parts of the canal weren't frozen

I saw a bunch of woodpeckers which is unusual. Quirky looking fellows, really

Part of Mather's Gorge

There are alot of parts along the river with a 50 ft drop to the water
